What types of Rewards should I give to my customers who recommend us?
Rewards can be coupons for your goods or services, a free product or service, cash (some states prohibit cash gifts), gift cards to other establishments or American Express gift cards (these last two are especially good for companies that do not have a large repeat business, i.e. contractors, plumbers, home decorators, etc).
Do we need to have a Facebook page to be listed on U Gotta Try?
No, you do not. However, we definitely encourage businesses to set up a Facebook page. It is very easy and we can help you if you need it. Simply send us an email via the Contact Us page of this website.
On your Home page you stated that if we take care of Reason #1, you will take care of #2 – 5. How?
Let me address each one.
2. There is nothing in it for them.
If a customer uses U Gotta Try to recommend a business they will get a reward for doing so. Currently, people recommend places to be nice, now they will also receive something as well.
3. Their friends don’t get anything.
If someone recommends a business through U Gotta Try, the person who receives the recommendation not only gets to try a great place, but they also get a discount coupon as well.
4. It’s not top of mind.
If someone has a great experience at your establishment chances are they will only bring it up to their friends if their friends happen to ask them for a recommendation. Most of us do not remember our great experience when talking to someone unless there is something that triggers our memory. Well, with U Gotta Try after a customer has a great experience, while it is still at the top of their mind, they go onto Facebook and tell their friends. Why, because not only are they trying to help their friends, but also because they will get rewarded for it.
5. They are uncomfortable bringing it up.
Some people do not like to tell people verbally about their experiences (good or bad). Well, on Facebook people feel much more comfortable using the typed word to communicate. Take a look at some of the comments that people make on Facebook and you will know what I mean.
